    The California Coastal Rose Society meets on the third Tuesday of the month (except for July & August) at Heritage Hall, 2650 Garfield, Carlsbad, which is located in the northwest corner of Magee Park.     California Rare Fruit Growers, San Diego North County Chapter

    The San Diego North County Chapter of the California Rare Fruit Growers was created to educate people about rare fruits, to identify fruits that are adaptable to the local area, and to propagate and to exchange plant materials. We meet at 7 p.m. on the 3rd Friday of every month at MiraCosta College, Student Center room 3450, One Barnard Drive, Oceanside.     California Rare Fruit Growers, San Diego Chapter

    The San Diego Chapter of the California Rare Fruit Growers was created to educate people about rare fruits, to identify fruits that are adaptable to the local area, and to propagate and to exchange plant materials. Meetings are at 7pm, fourth Wednesday of the month (except during November and December, when it shifts to the third Wednesday) in Casa del Prado Building (usually room 101) in Balboa Park.     Palomar Orchid Society

    Meetings are free and open to the public. General meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM, Lake San Marcos Conference Center, 1105 La Bonita Drive, San Marcos. Meeting topics cover a variety of topics including orchid habitat, cultural practices, and other topics of interest requested by members.     The San Diego Horticultural Society meets on the second Monday of every month from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Surfside Race Place at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.     Vista Garden Club
